FLOOD RELIEF PROGRAMME

The main goal is to alleviate the suffering caused by the floods by reaching out through relief & rehabilitation programme to socially and economically marginalized groups and enable them to return to normal living conditions as quickly as possible

The floods trigger by massive rains rendering people homeless and damaging thousands of houses. These floods also destroy standing crops, civic infrastructure, electricity and telecom facilities and paralyzed road and rail transport.

Distribution of aid material under the project was done in the presence of the beneficiaries and the partner organization representatives in a transparent manner. Public functions were held, and the occasion was also used to sensitize the community to show more care and compassion for the affected people
