A beloved wife, and mother of two sons. Mrs. Indira lived in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh during the last 21 years of her life rendered selfless service to the poor and the less fortunate through SAVE Trust. A gentle, soft-spoken woman of great intelligence and ability, also who knew her recall Mrs. Indira as a very personable woman of great kindness and courtesy.

With interest to serve the needy, in the year 1997 Mrs. Indira supported her husband P.Narendra Babu in establishing SAVE Trust. Initially, she was appointed as a finace Trustee for 5 years and also served as as a Full-time Trustee for 2 years. Later Mrs. Indira had been appointed as Managing Trustee of SAVE Trust and over a period of 14 years dedicated her life to supporting social and educational services at the highest level. Prior to joining SAVE Trust, she spent 9 years working at Acharya Nagarjuna University. She had been instrumental in building SAVE Trust programmes and creating the strategic vision under which it operates today. She is personally involved in all the activities and provides the day to day support that the Organization needs. The journey of fourteen years has been quite an eventful one for the organization, helped SAVE Trust to reach out quite a lot of people, especially poor and marginalized, through various initiatives implemented alone as well as in partnership with government and other organizations.

The organization scaled new heights under the competent leadership of Mrs. Indira, who is assisted by a committed team. SAVE Trust received Awards & Certificate of Appreciations from the Government for the services rendered to the needy. And Mrs. Indira is also a member of various committees formed by the Government.

Mrs. Indira’s sudden demise because of her ill health is unexpected and terrible loss to all of us. This tragedy has devastated us all, we all pray to God for her soul to rest in peace!
